Springdale

I was never one of those kids in school who moved around alot. I don't remember my pre school names but I remember the locations. Any ways, I went to Springdale Elementary from Kindergarden to sixth grade. I would say my favorite year was sixth grade. I basically had the most fun in this grade. My class had all of my good friends in the school. We were also given little jobs to help the school as well. There were future teachers (who helped the lower grades with grading class work), fire patrol (during a fire drill they made sure everyone was needed to be and out of the school), and gym helpers (who set up the daily equipment for the gym classes for the day). I was selected to be a future teacher. I had a good time doing it. My friend Jaukeem Balcom and I had a first grade class and we never had a dull moment in there.

I didn't really have a least favorite year. I had times where I disliked it alot. Fourth grade I had the harderst teacher ever and she was my science teacher. She was my only C in elementary school. Also in fifth grade we had to read books and get AR points so we could go outside every week. We had to get five points a week and I never did it. I always was inside.

There were other things that I miss about the school. Every year a grade or two perform these plays that took up two hours of the day. They were always fun to watch and also fun to do. The dances were also fun. Well it was fun for me cause girls liked me than and so I never got a no when I asked a girl to dance. One of my most memorable day at Springdale is the paper ball fight. At the end of the year our grade threw away all the paper we had and we put them in these black trash bags. Each class had about four or five and there four classes. Thats about twenty big bags of paper balls. The game was played out by dumping all the paper in teh middle of the gym floor. And the object of the game is to get the most paper on one side wins. I was the guy who barriacaded a section cause I was pretty strong compare to other people. I think our class did well but I dont think we won though.

About Me....

The name is Christopher Longson Lewis and I'm nineteen years old. I have an ordinary family, if u call a twin sister two brothers and one of them is autistic normal. I'm a normal guy i guess u can say, i attended Westside High School and i plan getting a degree in accountanting at MSC but im not sure if thats what i really want to do. The one thing i know for sure what to do is begin a life with my highschool sweet heart Kaeli Jones, I love her so much, we have our ups and downs but we love each other to death. Last Friday was actually our twenty one months.

So more about me. I'm sometimes shy at first before you get to know me but I open up really quick. I'm a kid at heart and always will be. I like going to the movies, hanging out with friends, and most of all spending time with my girl friend. Do you know some people who are very cute when they are young but get less attractive as they get older? Well I think I'm like that. I was rejected three times when asking a girl out so I gave up. I'll admit I had zero confidence but hey thats who I was. I think I grew out of that but I'm not entirely sure.

One of my favorite activities ever when hanging out with the guys is football. I always want to play tackle cause it'll make things more interesting. I always try to get people to go out and play at Springdale (thats the elementary school I went to). It's alot of fun and I even broken my nose playing too. I told my friend to throw lower cause we can jump three feet in the air. Well next play the ball is thrown to me and it was over my head and so I reached up and grabbed for it. My friend than charged at me and my nose was the first thing he hit with his shoulder. I bled for about ten minutes and started playing again. I know it wasn't smart but thats how I am. I keep playing not caring how much it hurts.

My Heading

For my Macon State 1102 English class, I had to create a blog and write about misceallonus things on here as an assignment. I had to come up with a heading for this blog and it wasn't all that difficult to come up with one. "The Lone Y Chromosome" came to mind. The reason it came to mind is because I am the only one in the class with a y chromosome. It doesn't really bother me that I'm the only male in the class room. My first thought was that it was kinda funny how it turned out to be twenty girls and one boy. Another reason I chose the title because it kinda rhymes to me, the lone and the "some" part of chromsome. It's a poetry class, so i thought to myself, "It rhymes why not?"
The odds that I'm the only male to sign up for the class is odd. I guess guys didn't want to sign up for an english class at nine thirty in the morning, but I did. I don't really have a reason to why I picked Mrs. Aikin as my teacher. I guess for two reasons. The first one is that I wanted to get done with my classes as soon as I could for the day. The other reason is cause I heard Professor Aikins was a good teacher to have. My friends Amy and Mason recommended me so I said to myself, "Might as well."
I'm a little nervous about the class. I've been over this material before in my senior year highscool (went to Westsdie if anyone was wandering). So the material should be familiar with me. One problem though, english is probably my weakest subject. I've gotten much better at writing papers last semester and as a result i got an A in English 1101 so I was very excited how that turned out. The part where I bomb the most is poetry. I am terrible at explaining them and even writing one. All I can do is do my best. I've already got a study partner slash tutor. My twin sister Christina sits behind me in class. (She is one minute older if anyone was wandering.)
This ends my blog for today. Till next time. Hobey-ho
