I'm getting a raise!
That's right I'm getting a raise. My boss told us that if everyone had enhancers in 20% of the smoothies. Everyone would get a raise. I ended up around 25% and I'm happy. I'm not sure how much higher it will go up but I don't care. A raise is a raise. The enhancers we put in our smoothies is a little bit of powder that we put it. It's either two tea spoons or a table spoon. The enhancers that we put in there are:
Antioxidant
Helps protect cells from free radical damage. Contains Pomegranate, Goji, Acai, Vitamins A, C, E and Selenium.
Caffeine Charge
Helps supply quick energy, mental clarity and a sustained energy boost. Contains pure caffeine and MSM (contains 125mg of caffeine, equal to about 1 cup of coffee).

English 1102 Final
So I got really mad at myself today. This morning I took my English 1102 final over Othello. I had no clue what the topics were but everyone else did. Our professor had sent an e-mail yesterday about the topics that were going to be on the final. I was so mad at myself. I could have looked at one of the topics and took notes and gotten an easy A on the final but no I had to start from scratch. At least we got to use our book and notes. That helped alot. Well the topic I did was:
Jealousy – Othello & Iago – Compare and contrast each man’s motivation for jealousy. How does each man’s attitude and actions connected with jealousy finally destroy him? In what way does each character’s pride and obsession in addition to jealousy contribute to his downfall? What makes Cassio exempt from the pitfalls the other two men are subject to?
This topic was probably the easiest one for me. I had to talk about the topic and it had to be three pages long. It was pretty easy for me. Blog # 25!
My last blog to get an A-! Well it's two in the morning and I need to get some sleep. I wanted to least get to 25. I need to do 30 for a 99 for my blogs but I'm going to do them after my final tomorrow. So what to talk about...
Favorite Disney movies ever are The Mighty Ducks Movie. They were three and the first one is called The Mighty Ducks. It's about a lawyer, Gordon Bombay (Emilo Estevez), who wins every court case. That's his life and that's the way he wants it. One day he gets a DUI. He is sentenced to community service. His community service is to coach pee wee hockey. The same team he played in. In fact, his old coach is still coaching which is still the best team in the league. Well Gordon gets the worst team in the league and he ends up turning them worst to first.
D2 is the second movie of the series. Inspired by his own players, Bombay decides to try out in the minor leagues. After a career-ending knee injury, he is offered a chance to coach a team representing the United States in the Junior Goodwill Games. For this, he reunites his Ducks and introduces them to five new players from across the country to form Team USA. However, the lure of celebrity becomes a distraction to both Bombay and the players, and reality kicks in when they lose against Team Iceland in an embarrassing defeat. Frustrated, Bombay drives his players even harder, yet Team USA continues to suffer, until they come across a street hockey team who teaches them how to play like "the real Team USA". New player Russ Tyler (Kenan Thompson), who earlier mocked Team USA during its matches, is recruited into the roster. Bombay realizes the most important thing is to have fun and after a change in attitude, the Ducks redeem themselves by working up the playoff ladder to meet Team Iceland in the finals. Team USA proves to be a match for Iceland, but the game ends in a tie, resulting in a shootout, which the Ducks win.
The third and last movie is called D3. The movie shifts focus from Bombay to protége Charlie Conway (Joshua Jackson). Charlie and his teammates are awarded scholarships to Eden Hall Academy, a Minnesota highschool Bombay attended. Their arrival is met with hostility from the varsity team (mainly consisting of all white players who are members of rich families, whose younger siblings were not accepted to the academy to make room for the Ducks), as well as Bombay's hand-picked successor, Ted Orion (Jeffrey Nordling), whose emphasis on defensive two-way hockey irks Charlie. Not wanting to be on a team led by Orion, who he believes to be a washed-up former professional player, Charlie leaves the team, but rejoins as he learns the truth about Orion from Bombay. Charlie and Orion quickly bond in time for the JV-Varsity Showdown, and thanks in large part to the work of Charlie, the Ducks win on a shorthanded goal in the dying seconds of the game from unlikely goal scorer Greg Goldberg (who is converted from goalie to defenseman).
These movies are awesome. I advise you to watch them.

Senior Picnic
The senior picnic was so awesome. The whole senior class got to go outside and get FREE food and hang out all of third period. It was relaxing for the first ten minutes. Sitting on the grass and talking to friends and enjoying the nice weather. Well someone got the football out and I went over and messed around. Well it was mostly white people over there and a couple of my black friends. Well some more black people (mostly our Varsity football players) came over and wanted to play a game.
I was excited for a good game. Well I turned my back and I realized that I was the only white person playing. I thought to myself, "What did I get myself into?" Thank God though to the fact that most of the biggest guys were on my team.
Offensive wise I hated playing. I got the ball ONCE. I was getting so irritated about this and the one time I do get it. The funniest thing happen. Before I get to that, there was a whole sideline of people watching this game and that made me nervous cause I don't want to be the guy who looks bad in front of whole bunch of people. Anyways, I caught the ball and took steps and this guy rams me so hard in the gut and he sends me flying. In my point of view, it felt like the matrix. Everything slowed down and like I was sitting in mid air. The ball wasn't in my hands anymore and I see it in front of me in mid air as well. Somehow I grabbed it and landed on my butt in the sitting position. And all I heard was ooooohhhhhhh. I'll admit I felt embarrassed.
Defensively wise, I stood my own. All these guys have been in Weight Training since 7th grade and I did it for one semester. So all these guys were strong and I knew I couldn't go head on with someone. I don't remember how many tackles I got but I got quite a few. The only way I could tackle someone was to go for his legs. It was kinda awkward doing it cause I had this big guy running at me and so basically I had to let him run over me and on the way down I grab his legs. You look stupid getting run over but still get the tackle. Everytime I did that I got mad cause the other team would laugh at the fact I got ran over even though I tackled the guy. It confused me.
Well when the game was over a whole bunch of people congratulated me about "playing with the big boys." The guys who made me smile the most was my friend Taylor. In the previous semester, Taylor and I had Weight Training and we played football alot. We were both really good. Anyways, Taylor was like "my boy!" It was a great moment for me but man I was so sore haha. Oh side not, my right shoulder got messed up sometime during that game and still hurts to this day when I do tweak it.

Offensive wise I hated playing. I got the ball ONCE. I was getting so irritated about this and the one time I do get it. The funniest thing happen. Before I get to that, there was a whole sideline of people watching this game and that made me nervous cause I don't want to be the guy who looks bad in front of whole bunch of people. Anyways, I caught the ball and took steps and this guy rams me so hard in the gut and he sends me flying. In my point of view, it felt like the matrix. Everything slowed down and like I was sitting in mid air. The ball wasn't in my hands anymore and I see it in front of me in mid air as well. Somehow I grabbed it and landed on my butt in the sitting position. And all I heard was ooooohhhhhhh. I'll admit I felt embarrassed.
Defensively wise, I stood my own. All these guys have been in Weight Training since 7th grade and I did it for one semester. So all these guys were strong and I knew I couldn't go head on with someone. I don't remember how many tackles I got but I got quite a few. The only way I could tackle someone was to go for his legs. It was kinda awkward doing it cause I had this big guy running at me and so basically I had to let him run over me and on the way down I grab his legs. You look stupid getting run over but still get the tackle. Everytime I did that I got mad cause the other team would laugh at the fact I got ran over even though I tackled the guy. It confused me.
Well when the game was over a whole bunch of people congratulated me about "playing with the big boys." The guys who made me smile the most was my friend Taylor. In the previous semester, Taylor and I had Weight Training and we played football alot. We were both really good. Anyways, Taylor was like "my boy!" It was a great moment for me but man I was so sore haha. Oh side not, my right shoulder got messed up sometime during that game and still hurts to this day when I do tweak it.
Mario's Quest for Princess Peach
So here's a video back from 12th grade. My sister is going to be really embarrass by it but she will, well might, get over it. Well Christina's AP Lit class had to create an epic story. They were allowed to be in groups and everyone except Christina's group did a story on paper. I wasn't even in the class and I was in the video all over the place. They needed an extra person, and I thought it would be fun and it was.

Random Fact # 1. I don't really hang out with people my own age. I never really have. Like in high school I hardly ever hung out with people in my grade. I mean I hanged out with my best friend Kevin but thats about it. Like I learned later that I was always invited to things Christina was invited to. It sucked but I got over it really quickly. It was nice to be asked instead of the twin thing. Anyways, now I'm hanging out with people who are a year older than me. A few friends of mine have lunch on Mondays and Wednesdays every week from twelve to two. The last month and a half we've been playing alot of hacky sack. It's really funny, the first day my friend like went to kick and he went up than down hard on the ground. It was so funny.

Shawn Michaels is one of the greatest wrestlers to have ever set foot in a wrestling ring. He wrestles in the WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment). He's been wrestling with the WWE since 1988.
Shawn Michales real name is Michael Shawn Hickenbottom and he was born on July 22, 1965. At the age of of forty-three he is still wrestling better than most guys half his age. Every wrestler has a finishing move, Shawn's is the super kick. When his opponent gets up from being on the ground, Shawn waits in the corner and he lifts his leg and drops it to make a loud thud. He does this to get the crowd going. He waits till his opponent faces him and he raises his foot and nails his opponent in the face. It's one of my favorite finishers because it looks like it will hurt.
One of the funniest and most memorable moments with HBK (oh thats what he calls himself, HBK stands for Heart Break Kid) was a couple years ago when HBK and Triple H were doing DX. Whenever these guys are together its chaos for everyone and its extremely funny. One night they were talking about how Vince McMan said that they didn't know controversy. HBK goes into a frenzy and says I know controversy and he super kicks three people walking down the hall. It might not be funny when I tell it but if you watch it, you'll laugh. Here's a link for it.

The one thing I didn't like about him is what I read in his book, Heartbreak & Triumph, the Shawn Michaels Story. I learned that HBK always came up with great matches to where he would lose. If someone needed to make look good, it was a win over HBK. Looking back on everything I realized that he's been in so many great matches but he never wins. HBK is very capable of winning but he chooses to lose ahead of time (cause the show is fake and there is a story line) to make his opponent look good. Like at last Wrestle Mania, I knew HBK was going to lose to the Undertaker even though he owned him the weeks before.

Inheritance Cycle Book 3
The title, Brisingr, means "fire" in the fictional ancient language. It was released on September 20, 2008. I went to the Barnes & Nobles on the 19 and I waited till midnight because they were releasing the book at that time. I've waited a couple of years for the book to come out and now I have to wait another at most two years for the last book. According to the Algaesia site, the book sold 550,000 copies on its first day of sale.
This book is about "The Seven Promises of Eragon Shadeslayer and Saphira Bjartskular" Throughout the first two books, Eragon and Saphira made promises through out the stories. In this book, they make amends to most of them.
Eragon, Roran, and Saphira rescue Roran's fiance, Katrina, who is held prisoner at Helgrind, the dwelling place of the Ra'zac. Eragon also finds Sloan, Katrina's imprisoned father and a traitor to Carvahall. While Saphira, Roran and Katrina return to the Varden, Eragon slays the remaining Ra'zac. Using Sloan's true name (which he discovers by accident), Eragon commands him to travel towards the Elves' domain before returning to the Varden himself. Meanwhile, Arya finds Eragon in a town named Eastcroft, and together, they return to the Varden. At the Varden's camp, Eragon attempts to reverse the curse he accidentally set upon Elva but after a failed first try Elva says that she doesn't want the curse to be entirely removed after she discovers she can ignore it, later saying that next time she and Eragon met they would not be a friend or a foe, but she keeps her loyalty to Saphira. Eragon proceeds to repays small debts, and settles other minor affairs.
Part of the reason why the book was getting really big was due to Paolini adding a hundred pages about Sloan. Sloan had betrayed his friends. Sloan had betrayed Roran of letting the Ra Zac to capture Katrina. Sloan wanted them to take Roran but they ended up taking him and Katrina. The reason he added Sloan was to show a side of Eragon we haven't seen yet. He didn't want to become a killer. It was his duty to protect to fight in the army but he didn't want to be God when it came to deciding his faith.
Oh and about Roran. There is a chapter where he kills 193 people in one battle!

Eldest begins following several important events in Eragon. The story is the continued adventures of Eragon and his dragon Saphira, centering around their journey to the realm of the Elves in order to further Eragon's training as a Dragon Rider. Other plots in the story focus on Roran, Eragon's cousin, who leads the inhabitants of Carvahall to Surda, and Nasuada as she takes on her father's role as leader of the Varden. Eldest ends at the Battle of the Burning Plains with a bang, where Eragon faces a new Dragon Rider, and a new dragon, Thorn.
I really like this book. Roran has his own story now and he’s a badass, plain and simple. The Ra Zac and soldiers come looking for Roran to you use him as bait to lure out Eragon but Roran has no clue that his cousin is the new rider. Well basically Roran defends the village with a hammer. He gets it from the blacksmith, Horst, and bashes so many people with it. He also helps them get through the Spine. Did I say awesome he is? Well he steals a small ship to take them to Teirm and there they steal one of the best vessels ever. And they sail along the coast all the way to Surda. For Eragon’s part that I read the most is about the last hundred pages of the book. It’s the biggest battle of the book and one of the coolest parts too. This is the part where the Urgals come in. This is where the alliance comes in. Eragon kicks some much butt in the battle too. But it’s like tens of thousands on the Varden side versus hundred of thousands of the Empire side. Oh and Roran arrives on the ship near the end of the battle and he takes out the strongest magicians in the Empire.
So if you have guessed that Roran is my favorite character, you guessed right

Paolini began writing the first book, Eragon, at the age of fifteen. After writing the first draft for a year, he spent a second year rewriting it and fleshing out the story and characters. His parents saw the final manuscript and decided to self-publish Eragon. Paolini spent a year traveling around the United States advertising the novel. By chance, the book was discovered by Carl Hiaasen, who got it re-published by Alfred A. Knopf. The re-published version was released on August 26, 2003.
The book is about a young farm boy named Eragon, who finds a mysterious stone in the mountains called The Spine. A dragon named Saphira hatches from the stone, which was really an egg. When King Galbatorix finds out about Eragon and his dragon, he sends his servants, called the Ra Zac, after them in an effort to capture them. Eragon and Saphira are forced to flee from their hometown, and decide to search for the Varden, a group of rebels who want to see the downfall of Galbatorix. The man they travel with is the town’s old storyteller Brom.
The way I even read this book was by complete luck. I was at Barnes & Nobles and I saw the second book Eldest in the most random spot. It was on the ground on the way to the bathroom. It had a cool looking dragon on it and I picked it up. I read the cover about what happened in the first book and I got hooked on it. I got Eragon and Eldest that day. The next day I took it to school and a few of my friends have read them already.

My BUSA 2201 Presentation....
At the beginning of the year my BUSA 2201 professor, Sanders, told us that we had to give a presentation about anything technological. We decided to do it on the TALON Family of Military.
Their are distinct “families” of robots that will be able to perform a variety of tasks, and will all be operated with one universal control unit. Today, TALON Ground Robotics includes four “families” that are easily distinguished by size: small, medium, large and extra large. Their names are Dragon Runner (15 to 50 lb), TALON (80 to180 lb), MAARS (300 to 400 lb)and TAGS-CX (5,000 to 6,000 lb) and they are all controlled with one new Digital Control Unit (DCU).
The Dragon Runner small tactical robot was originally developed for the U.S. Marines by Automatika, which became a Foster-Miller subsidiary in 2007. The basic model weighs 14 lb. The basic Dragon Runner gives users the ability to see around corners in urban and hostel environments.
TALON SWORDS or the Special Weapons Observation Reconnaissance Detection System, is a weaponized version being developed by Foster-Miller for the US Army. The robot is composed of a weapons system mounted on the standard TALON framework.
MAARS is the project FOSTER-MILLER is currently working on and it is more advanced then the TALON SWORDS. It is added with GPS to prevent, if not significantly reduce, the friendly fire of soldiers. The MAARS can shoot on a wide range and will not shoot in the area of friendly soldiers.

Prom 2009
So I get to go to my third prom and I am excited. I'm going to prom with my girlfriend Kaeli. We went to Men's Warehouse a couple of weeks to go to get my tux. I didn't want to spend to much money so I got the cheapest nicest looking tux there was. It totaled out to be $115. Kaeli's dress is black with purple and teal designs on it and so we debated about what I would wear. We decided on a black tux with a purple vest and euro tie. Kaeli doesn't like bow ties and so thats why we went with euro. I don't remember what the design was called for the vest.
If you were wandering why I'm talking about prom now and wait till after is because prom is on May 9 and I'll be done with school by than.
Our plans are to meet at my friend Rachel's house at four. We will probably take some pictures and head to Washington Park downtown in a Escalade. Rachel wanted to rent a car and I didn't care. I had to pay $25 for it though. Once we are done at the park, we are going to take pictures on the Wesleyan campus around the mountain. Than its dinner at Outback at 5:45. I'm thinking steak with mash potatoes. I'm getting hungry now thinking about it haha. Than it's prom at eight. Than after prom we are all going back to Rachel's house to spend the night. I'm not sure what we are doing yet but it should be alot of fun with everyone together hopefully.

Free Time
So when I'm not at school, spending time with my girl friend, or at Smoothie King. I like to play video games. Video games are a great way for me to un stress. I get my mind off what I'm thinking and all I think about is the game.
Right now I'm playing Star Ocean: The Last Hope and Lord of the Rings: Conquest.
Star Ocean's story is about...Planet Earth (set in 2064 A.D.) was on the brink of destruction as between the World Republic Federation and the various nations that opposed it sparked the outbreak of World War III. Weapons of mass destruction, deployed with complete no thought, scorched the land in the blink of an eye. The situation forced the two opposing factions to negotiate a cease-fire and an agreement was quickly reached, but although the war may have ended, its effects remained. With the deteriorating environment, Earth's population was drastically reduced and those who survived lived a confined existence trapped in underground cities. Eventually countries joined together to form the Greater United Nations and turned their eyes skyward, to space.
In Lord of the Rings: Conquest, it is based on The Lord of the Rings film trilogy. The game allows the player to play as both the forces of good and evil. When you fight for good you play through many battles you see in the movies and for evil it is based around Sauron stopping the One Ring from being destroyed and fighting back. The evil story starts with Frodo taking the ring and Nazgul stops him and takes the ring. So this part of the game is what probably would have happened.
Both games are fun. I'm half way through Star Ocean and I beat LOTR in a day. I mostly play in online with other players. You get to play as a warrior, archer, mage, or a scout. I'm cheap and skilled at the archer. My best ever was 6o kills 12 deaths on the shire level during capture the ring game. Theres many different scenarios you can play for each level: conquest, team deathmatch, Hero's team deathmatch, and capture the ring. In conquest, you want to capture all the spawn points. Team deathmatch is when you play with ordinary soldiers and the first team to kill 50 wins. Hero's deathmatch is where you only use heroes. Capture the ring is my favorite. In the middle of the map is the one ring and the goal is to capture it and carry it to the other teams spawn point to score.

Team deathmatch is when you play with ordinary soldiers and the first team to kill 50 wins. Hero's deathmatch is where you only use heroes. Capture the ring is my favorite. In the middle of the map is the one ring and the goal is to capture it and carry it to the other teams spawn point to score.

May 12
May 12 is when a book comes out that I have been waiting for since January. It's called Pendragon Book 10: Soliers of Halla. It's the longest series I've ever read. This series is really confusing, well not really I'm just a bad explainer so I'm going to do my best.
They follow the chronicles of Bobby Pendragon, a teenager who discovers that he, as well as his two best friends, Mark Dimond and Courtney Chetwynde, must try to save the universe. Each book switches between the first-person perspective of Bobby's journals and third-person narratives of other prominent characters mostly Mark and Courtney. Bobby is a Travler and Mark and Courtney are his acoloytes through out the story.
A Traveler is an individual originating from one of ten territories (our Earth is one but its called Second Earth and thats where Bobby is from) who is chosen to try to save his or her territory when something goes wrong. They are the only ones who know of the existence of flumes other than their aides, who are called "acolytes". It is unknown how Travelers are chosen, and so far it has only been determined that they are born and raised for the purpose of saving the universe. Each Traveler trains and introduces their successor to his or her new life. When a person is told that they are a Traveler, all traces of that person's existence disappear, including families, except in the memories of those who knew that family or person. It is unknown as of yet where the families of travelers go, but the Travelers are reassured by their trainers that they remain alive. There is one Traveler from each territory; at the time when there are two Travelers, the previous Traveler will soon die. The previous Traveler, however, is allowed a certain amount of time in which to train the new Traveler in ways of judgment and responsibility.
And they all have powers too. I'll make a list of them:
Oh and Saint Dane can shape shift into any animal or person. And I have no idea whats going with that.
Well the series is a great one and I love it. It takes your mind on a roller coaster and once you figured it out a new twist comes in and you are like WHAT!!!!!

- Power of persuasion;
- Hear all speech (and see all writing) as their own tongue, although words that describe things individual to one territory do not change (Omnilinguality);
- Recover from injuries that would kill any normal person;
- Heal another Traveler or bring them back to life through sheer force of will.
- Read the minds of those around them (although only Press Tilton, Osa, and Saint Dane have exercised this ability so far - It does speak of other travelers and sometimes even acolytes knowing exactly what Pendragon was thinking).

Smoothie King
So I've been working at Smoothie King for over a year now and I like my job. I get FREE smoothies! The reason I got this job is because this lady came to my school and told us about a job fair at Mable White off of Bass Rd. I needed a job so I decided to go. The job fair was for the new mall, Shoppes at Riverside Crossing, and there were a hundred jobs available. I thought to myself I would be able to get a job somewhere. The job I wanted was a job at Game Stop but they weren't at the job fair. They said they would be but they weren't. So I filled out a job application to Journey's and the guy asked me to come back later for an interview.
Christina went with me to get a job too and she told me to go do one at Smoothie King cause the manager was really nice. Well I get over there and fill out the first page but there wasn't a back. He told me that someone is bringing him some more and I told I would wait. We talked for a few minutes and Christina came over and we all talked. And minutes later he offered Christina and I a job on the spot and we gladly accepted.
I will not lie but I hated the first week of work. The store was so busy. There was customer after customer and we had three people closing than. It was awful. I would go home and lay down and pass out. We closed at nine and I wouldn't get home till 10:45ish. I started off at $6
an hour when the minimum wage was at $5.55.
A few months later Blake, my boss, taught me how to count down the till each night and how to order. He did the same to Christina and we were the first to get raises. Our raise went up to $7 and thats how much I get paid right now. We could get another raise if all the employees get 20% of the smoothies with enhancers. I'm at 25% and there are three people below 20%. One of them is at 13% and the other two are 17%. So hopefully we can get them all up before the end of the month is over. This summer minimum wage is going up to $7.25 and Blake said he would pay me $7.75.

Well today is my brother Richard's birthday. He has autism and he has a thing for numbers. If you ask him any Braves baseball player's number he'll tell you. I haven't figured out what numbers he likes on a dollar but I gave him one for his present. He likes dollar bills ALOT mostly just the one dollar ones. He also likes coins too like the gold dollar ones. Well today I gave him a dollar and he said the numbers were bad and he asked my sister to trade. Well the other day at Smoothie King, I got the tips out of the jar and someone left an oragomy frog looking thing made from a dollar. I was like sweet and I was to keep it and not spend it cause it looked really cool. Well I went into my wallet to get it and put it in my bag (it has a couple of $2 dollar bills and about ten gold dollar coins of the presidents) but it was UNFOLDED. I was like come on!!!!! =(
This is the thing with Richard, he likes things to be in their own places cause if I leave a dollar next to my wallet he'll put in my wallet for me. Well thats what I'm guessing what happened there. I was like =( but I cant stay mad at him for it. He was just putting something where it was suppose to be. The one thing he doesn't put back in place is our room. We share a room and I've always wondered why he doesn't clean. He has this thing where he thinks its HIS room and not mine and tells me to get out. He normally says, "Get our of my labatory" like Dexter from Dexter's Labatory (remember that show?). And its only my room when it needs to get clean. Go figure.
Like I said earlier its his birthday. His 22nd birthday in fact. We had cake and ice cream. Triple chocolate cake and vanilla ice cream. It was so funny when we were singing Happy Birthday. He also does this thing where he watches a certain TV show alot, he'll start calling us the names of the characters. Like he has been Fred (from Fred Flintones), Curly (from three stooges), Rudolph during Christmas time. Well today we got to the part where say Happy Birthday Richard and he yells ERIC!! (Eric from That 70's Show). I busted out laughing. Oh what made it more funny, he got a braves t shirt and hat from out grandmother and he tossed it onto his piece of cake and my mom and i busted out laughing.

Kaeli and I 2 years
On April 16 was Kaeli’s and I two year anniversary. We originally planned to go to Olive Garden because that’s her favorite place. She loves fettuccine alfredo and salads, and their bread. She could probably eat it everyday. But, we decided to go to Chilis because of money costs. She got the big bites meal. Which are four mini burgers and fries. I got the Bacon Cheeseburger with no mayonnaise. Not a big man of it. We got the chips appetizer thing for starters. The coolest thing happened while we were waiting for our meals. The song “Home” by Chris Daughtry played and that’s our song. So it was our two years, at one of our restaurants, and our song was playing. I thought that was cool.
We went back to her house and played a little basketball. Basketball is my worst sport. I always hit the rim but it hardly ever goes in. she always beats at HORSE whenever we play too. And no I don’t let her win to be nice, I’m just terrible. Which is weird because my mom played varsity basketball in high school and I stink at it. Well we took a lot of pictures. Mostly stupid pictures of each other.

Braves
So the Braves are (6-7) which is not good. We won the series against the Phillies to start off the year which was awesome. But we've been not to great since. The game we lost to the Phillies should have been a win but in the 7th inning I think we gave up eight runs!!! which cost the game. THe bullpen gave up four straight walks with bases loaded. BASES LOADED. Our bullpen is doing awful AGAIN but I actually think we have one of the best bullpens right now. Like its do really well or do really bad lately.

Chipper won the 1999 National League MVP Award, as well as the 1999 and 2000 National League Silver Slugger Award for third basemen. He currently holds the Braves team record for career On base percentage (.406), and on May 31, 2006, he passed Hank Aaron for second place on the Atlanta Braves all-time career home run list. On July 5, 2007, he passed Dale Murphy for the Atlanta club record of 372 home runs.
He is behind only Mickey Mantle and Eddie Murray on the all-time switch hitters career home run list. He is considered one of the game's best all-around hitters, and one of the best switch hitters in the history of the game. He is the only switch hitter in Major League Baseball history to have a .300+ career (.310 at the end of the 2008 season) batting average and 400 home runs.

I had to explain:
- title
- speaker
- structure
- figurative languages
- imagery
- irony
- theme
I did all these things and I had problems with the speaker and irony and theme. I couldn't tell if the speaker was the author or someone else. She is also latin and she said they prey and not we pray. I said the irony of the poem was the huge gap of Christianity and Latin Women. Like they used brown daughters and Great White Father, Spanish to an Anglo God, and other things to show the gap. And I ended with the theme being that it was a culture/identity. The theme I said was even though there is a huge gap to what you believe in. Its you way of life you can belice anything you want to. And she told me today I got an A!!!
My classses
Is coming to an end and I have done well I think. The classes I've taken are accounting, business 2201, physical science with a lab, elementarys statistics, and english 1102.
My hardest class was accounting and I ended up dropping it because I never studied and I was a bad student in there. I needed to get an A in that class if I wanted to have a good GPA for those type of classes which I knew I wasn't going to be able to so I dropped.
BUSA 2201, is an easy class. I have it on Mondays and Wednesdays from 11:00 t0 12:15. There's not much homework and not alot of tests. We use this site called SAM 2007 to work on word, excel, powerpoint, and access assignments. All of these are very easy for me except for access. I've never used it before I got to this class. Its just like excel but with some major differences. I know some of my grades but I have no clue what I have in the class. I know its a B but I want/need an A.
I have Physical Science on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:00 to 12:15. I thought it was going to be an easy A. We have done physics and chemistry material in that class. I got a 95 on the first test and then 80's on the second and third. All I need is a 70 on the final to get a B but I need to get a 97 on it to get an A.
The lab was on Thursdays from 12:30 to 2:30 and it has been so awful this year. The first lab we got done in twenty minutes. It was quick and easy and we were the first out of there. But after that it has been a pain in the butt. One lab we got no credit for because we worked on it the entire time and got it wrong. It had to with mirrors and focal points and the angle of incendence and reflection. Like I told him what we were doing to make sure what we werew doing was right and he said it wasn't. Well later we did it like two different times and that was wrong. BUT he told a group different group it was right which was what we were doing. I tell him again what we were doing at the beginning and he said oh you were doing it right to begin with. The reason we didnt get credit cause we had two things to do and we took the whole time on the first one.
I take Elementary Statistics on Monday and Wednesdays from 2:00 to 3:15. Its my favorite and easiest class because I love math. My grades for the test are 95, 94, and a 98 and I took a test yesterday which I think I did pretty well on. Just checked my grades online and they aren't up yet. I'll leave a comment on what I got when the grade is up.

I'm not that great at analyzing poems and stories and such. I'm not that great of a writer. I have problems saying what I'm thinking. I guess I'm doing good in the class. I need 25 blogs by Thursday for an A cause thats 20% of my grade and I got an A on my poem explication and that will be my next blog.

Know1ng
So if you haven't seen the movie and want to see it. I saw the movie last night and it was good, but also freaked me out.

In 1959, at an elementary school in Lexington, Massachusetts, a time capsule containing the students' drawings of their ideas of the future is buried and set to be ceremoniously opened 50 years later. A girl named Lucinda contributes a page full of random numbers. That night, Lucinda is found in a school closet, where her fingers are bloodied and she complains about hearing voices. Like she was interrupted by the teacher and she dug those numbers into the door with her fingernails. It was pretty gorey.
In present time 2009, the time capsule is opened and the drawings are given to the current students. A boy named Caleb receives Lucinda's envelope. His father (Nicolas Caige), a widower and professor of astrophysics at MIT takes notice in the paper, and he soon realizes that part of these digits form dates and death tolls of every major disaster over the past fifty years, and suggests three disasters yet to come. I guessed this part, the first date he noticed was 9/11/01 and after that it had 2000 something. Meanwhile, Caleb begins receiving visits from mysterious figures in overcoats, he called them the Whispers, and during his encounters he hears their whispers in his head.
I'm not goin to get much detail after that in case you are reading this and havent seen the movie. Nicolas Caige tries to stop the next events and isn't able to. He tries to find Lucinda's daughter which he does and later on they team up to figure out a way to stop the timeline from coming true. Well the whispers were bad people, they were warning Earth of what was coming. When the numbers ran out. Everyone else was goin to die. And the way everyone die was because of the sun. The sun was having crazy flares and one shout out and destroyed everything on Earth. Except for Caleb and a bunch of other children. The whispers took them to a new planet and on the new planet there was this big white tree. A biblical refrence to the garden of eden I'm guessing and Caleb and Lucinda's grand daughter are the new Adam and Eve.
The funniest thing I noticed which my friends didn't catch was the bunnies. Caleb and Lucinda's granddaughter were allowed to take bunnies with them. Well bunnies are known for their population growth. Which caleb and the girl need to do to start over.
